Keeping the project on schedule
and within budget.
We diligently compare architectural plan sheets to structural and MEP sheets early on in our projects to ensure that these disciplines match in their design. This allows us to find discrepancies early on in the project, thus keeping the project on schedule and within budget. We also find that this process creates an open line of communication early on amongst the project team, and allows us to deal with issues much more quickly.
Shop drawings are meticulously checked before submittal to architects and engineers. Identifying problems and discrepancies before they arise is the key to keeping a project on schedule. We not only identify problems, but also offer solutions to these projects in order for the project to keep moving forward.
Milestone schedules are created for each project
Once contracts are awarded, milestone schedules are created for each project, and then reviewed by project management and superintendents.
Schedules are updated monthly to ensure projects are on track and on schedule. Two week “look ahead” schedules are prepared by the superintendent weekly in collaboration with the project manager and key subcontractors

to project management.
This starts with our superintendents in the field. Our field staff is involved in every aspect of field operations, working hand in hand with our subcontractors to ensure work is done to specifications. Our project management staff does not just manage the job from the office. They make several trips weekly to the site, to meet with the superintendent to ensure the project is running smoothly
